Green Luminescence

Green Luminescence

The sun shining through the summertime leaves lit the room with a green tint.

the green gives the image a even more creepier and sinister...sick twisted view..
that looks like shit outta Amityville horror
such grandeur! and so dramatic! exploding with that particular shade of green, a delightfully eerie aura envelops the every square inch of the room.

take deep breaths....

~soundtrack~

summer, one of four concerti

(vivaldi, the four seasons)

just listen to the violins (or uli j. roths screaming electric sky guitar, omg, i actually wept at his show, definitely a major influence of mine as he's always been) slashing through the silence, resonating from wall to wall. savor the amazing acoustics echoing in that cavernous room. note the shadows change as the sun traverses across the sky. feel your heart pounding against your ribcage in anticipation of sheer climactic pleasure. experience the euphoric dream of another world. let yourself go and keep a couple of cigarettes on hand.

<deep sigh>
Wow... it's wonderful!
Remember the movie "Creepshow"?? The part where Stephen King plays this simpleton farmer who discovers this "thing" from another planet, and it takes over everything (including him), covering all surfaces with a mossy-lloking green substance?? That's what this photo reminds me of.
Also, remember, Soylent Green Is People!!
I don't find it creepy. I think it's rather relaxing. Like a lush forrest on a quiet summer afternoon.
This picture makes me sick to my stomach. It is a very disconcerting color of green.
Reminds me of close encounter of the 3rd kind!
Looks like a UFO is hovering outside. Very cool pic.
sick
That an awsome shade of green.*nods* mmhmm
What IS causing the green hue? Sunlight on the green walls in a dim room, in the absence of artificial lighting? I agree with Keith, I find it peaceful- like the old place is having a quiet rest after all the sorrow and upheavals it's witnessed over the decades.
Was this some kind of a day room? I can imagine the patients sitting there in armchairs with rugs over their knees, playing draughts or dominoes, reading magazines or listening to gentle music on the radio....Maybe the doors were opened in the Summer to allow a breeze through, and nurses wheeled the infirm ones out for a trip round the lawns.
This is strange. I don't know that I've seen anything quite like that before. It's a lovely room and must have been.
I love this pic!! the green really completes it.
Awesome.. The green makes it eerie, the little drapes on the doors (my mind won't remind me what they're ACTUALLY called) gives the room a nice, homey feeling. Like something in a good old Southern house.
even on other pics that green light is there wat does it mean?..... creepy
