Nobody has a comment on how creepy THIS picture looks? They look like the skeletons of the people who were once housed there...Think about that for a minute.
Well I don't see that exactly but they are still creepy thinking of what they were used for.
Am I missing something? This looks like the remains of a standard sort of hospital bed with rails to me. So... They're creepy because people slept in them?
no , they are creepy because they are left to rot and decay in an abandonded building.
These are not that old, they are electric beds. These came into use most commonly in the late 60's and early 70's. The side rails are used to keep pts from falling out of the beds or to lean against while their linen was being changed.
I don't think the beds are as creepy as their surroundings are.
It seems strange to me that a place like this was in use only about 25 years ago.
Final resting place for former hospital beds!
Actually, straighten out, put a mattress, blanket, and pillow on it....and maybe a little doll, and this would be a PERFECT bed for children..or hell, I'll take it!
Im kind of confused, if this place was used up to about 25 years ago, why are there still adult cribs and random things that were used long ago there? so they upgraded on a few things and just left the rest?
neato!
i totally agree with anna and person,
