THE STAIN ON THE WALL KINDA LOOKS LIKE BLOOD! SCARY.....

I can't say if it looks like blood or not as I don't know the color of them.I would guess black but I could be wrong.

Probably just water damage, but I was thinking of that part in "The Ring" where the chick's in the well and she suddenly finds her hands full of a dead person's hair.

Yes this was a very scary place. When I was about 10 (about 1964) the dance school I went to went to the Dever State Hospital and performed for the children. I was very very sad, they were not taken care of at all and at that time the children were consider retarded, but as I look back most of them had Down's Syndrome I can still remember their faces and hands reaching out to us. Very sad.

Have they ever converted one of these "SCHOOLS" into condos ?

and would they be haunted .....

These weren't schools, this was a place to lock up the mentally retarded and handicapped people. They kept them there because they werent normalized in the community no one wanted to help them. They were beaten, raped , starved and neglected.

i went to paul dever this past tuesday and had to run from the rent a cops lol we went into most of the buildings including the activity center with the bowling alley and the most interesting building was were there was a cage with a lock in the corner of a room and right on the side of it a 6 by 6 box with a door...childrens commonwealth of massachusets files saying how they were hurt and hurt eachother treated like animals locked up and tortured....random cries for help echoing through every building...on top of that it used to be a prison called miles standish where german prisoners were kept during ww2.imagine the horriblt things that have taken place in those buildings.someone should knock them down and put those souls to rest.i never believed in ghosts or anything paranormal really and still not sure if i do but i definetly believe that there is some type of evil in that place

Is this a picture of the famous "room of blood" I hear so much about? I grew up in the area, and Paul Dever is about 5 mins away from my house. I went in there for the first time yesterday, searching for the Morgue and the "room of blood" we all have heard of.

What imaginations you people have, there was no blood room I think you all watch too many horror stories. The looked cages kept supplies and medication when I worked there.

i was there a couple weeks ago and took some pics. i think the only thing that will hurt you is the asbestos
