Peepshow

Peepshow

This urology table was placed in an x-ray room... so there's a small window for the technician to stand behind with the controls. There's something a little disturbing about this setup!

I find it slightly disturbing as well...I guess it takes all kinds.
saddle um up boys, YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAA
I've got this in my bedroom, Ha Ha kidding...
as long as there wasn't a camera behind that little window then I guess it's safe! maybe!
omg! yyyyuuuukkkk
Hey, that would have been great for Michael Jackson's house!
this is a terrifying image lol
Oh dear...
I hate to be an oinking chauvinist female sow here, but how come no one made any comments about the spacious maternity/delivery room with amphitheater and multiple seats for one's staring pleasure in the Cynthia Lee Memorial Hospital and all of the sudden when we are potentially looking at the private parts of the male anatomy there is discomfort that people would be watching while they are in a compromising position? Mebbe it's different when the stirrup is on the other foot, eh? Eh? [nudge nudge wink wink]

Oink oink oink oink.

Honestly, most of the time y'all men are in pretty good shape because no one ever asks to stick a camera up your dress to take a picture of you when you are definitely at your best - giving birth. Videocameras in birthing rooms are the stupidest idea anyone ever came up with.

But let me tell you how I REALLY feel about this. :-)
I agree! u all dont care about the female feelings! all u care about is your selfs!
Ummm... I don't wear a dress, so I'm gonna have to improvise here, and say that if you'd like to stick a camera in my pants when I'm not at my best, have at it. You won't even have to ask...

As for you, Maggie, I can tell that you REALLY care about how the other person is feeling, just by your comment. Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black, isn't it? That is beyond a gross generalization, so I'll break it down for you easily. Some people ARE self centered. Some people ARE male. Therefore, there are some self centered males out there. However, there are some self centered females out there too. Welcome to the real world, please leave your coat at the door.
OMG OMG OMG, again I am laughing so hard I have to go to the bathroom, boy when I have my surgury I need to get my bladder checked out (ha ha ha)
HA HA HA !!

When the stirrup is on the other foot !

Thats so d@mn funny =D
in re of cameras's during childbirth.
My mum offered to take pictures of both my son and daughters heads during childbirth!!!! What fruit loop would allow anyone to video their lady bits?!!! child birth or not, its not normal and i'm pretty sure people have choices as to whether they have cameras in the room with them!!!
On the other hand, i noticed that i was surrounded by 13 med students as i gave birth to my son and 11 months later i was surrounded by 9 students as my daughter made her grand entrance!!! I wasn't even slightly embarrassed and actually had a charming conversation with a young asian girl who held my hand while i delivered! Child birth can be pretty harrowing for men too....
There is some irony to the fact that a man is almost always there at the very beginning of the baby-making process but often one isn't there at the completion stage . . . .
There is some irony to the fact that a post complaining about too many people in the room during a birth is followed by a post complaining about not enough... :D Loves ya Lynnie!
I'm just sayin', son, that it would be a treat if the person who was "in on the ground floor at the beginning," as we say, was there when the "excitin' part" happened. :-)
Lynne...

Am I the only one who notices that when guys started gettin the finger q year at 40 the whole scientific community was ascramble to come up with a blood test.... but women are still sticken thier legs in the air after 100 years...
Smurfy,

I think you are just marvy! 8`-)
Oh wait I forgot a question....

Where is the Testogram machine?
Hold still this may pinch a little!... but it's very important that you dont move while I place your body parts in this acrylic vice to x ray them....
Now THAT'S funny! 8`-)
> ; )
I went back and re-read the whole thing this morning, and man, so funny!

Ok, regarding cameras in the delivery: hell no! Who the hell wants to see that??? Unless it is for medical purposes, and is consented to in advance, why oh why? Eeeew ~shudder~ Makes me think of Epistomes and SitzBaths!

As for the guys being there... Yes and no. I agree that some guys need to be more responsible in this aspect, but then again, some chicks maybe need to be slightly more picky in who they let knock them up! I mean, if he doesn't look like he's going to be there to support you, having a baby isn't going to change that! Ladies: be picky when choosing a mate! Go for only high quality Dr.'s! :D

Still kinda bummed; nobody ever took my offer to shove a camera down my pants seriously... :(

Ok, regarding the ~ahem~ testing. Having worked in a clinic that specialized in reproductive organs, I can say beyond a doubt: pap smears suck. Mammograms suck. Then again, having some dude stick a finger up your butt while he fondles your testes and tries to make "small talk" isn't fun either. I agree, it is a sucky thing to go through. Then again, so is losing part of your body to cancer because it wasn't caught in time. I don't enjoy my yearly testing either (they have this one STD test where they shove a q-tip the size of my arm in... let's just say a very small hole), but I'd rather be safe and catch things early...

Did I miss anything? /end-minirant
Nope! You didn't miss a thing!
Yep... you missed the part where in an amazingly short period of time they came up with a blood test so guys don't have to get the finger .... but women are still stickin their legs in the air and no one gives a shit.
having the prostate checked by a beautiful young thing is almost fun ;)
looks like liquid ran down
I would have LOVED a camera when I gave birth, although admittedly, I had a caesarian (after 26 hours of bulls**t).

Mott, you may empathise here.
When one has a caesarian section, the baby's head(only) is lifted out and the mouth and nose cleared. The baby's neck is flush with the mum's abdominal wall. I reckon it would be a fantastic picture. With all staff out of the frame, it would almost be akin to the alien coming out of the stomach at brekkie scene. Especially if the baby opened its mouth and cried.

Even after 26 hours of labour, this thought was going through my mind as my daughter was being cut out. All I could think was disappointment at not getting the once in a lifetime shot. Guess that makes me a bit of a photographer doesn't it?
Said it before and I'll say it again: There are some seedy clubs in SF and NY that would pay a fortune for the likes of this....
And thanks to Debi's comment, I have found yet another reason why I never want to have children!!! hahaha!!!
You guys are definitely on a roll.............Amazing what one picture can start!!
"Welcome to the Cunnilingorium, I'm you're hostess, Delores."
"Yes, I had the 7:30 reservation with Mulva."
"Of course. Right this way, Mr. Hunt."
Those stir ups are pretty scarry looking compare to the regular ones for a gynecology exam. These they hold your legs apart with your knees up there. Scary!
I think im going to call my GYN............... Yikes
If you need a good laugh be sure to go to this pic and read the whole comment section! Slill laughing!
Sianaby------ ''fruit loop'' lol lol
Guys that was sooo worth reading. made my evening....thanks!!!

Look at the positions of those 'styrups'
Male viewers...ouch????
oh god *cries*
