Blood Refrigerator

Blood Refrigerator

Pieces of tape inside labeled the shelves - "A pos/neg", "B neg", etc. I like the design of the door handle.

Always something new and interesting here. This place isn't creepy and doesn't pulse with negative energy like Pennhurst and it doesn't have a fairy tale feel like the enchanted forest but it is a very fascinating building. What I like about this gallery is,is all the close up and personal photos of all sorts of medical/lab equipment. These machines, especially the iron lungs almost take on a life of their own.
THE REFRIGERATOR LOOS LIKE IT WAS MADE IN THE 50'S.
JAVA, STOP USING ALL CAPS! IT GET ANNOYING! and Motts, please tell me it was empty?!
yeah, motts, was it empty?
wonder how many bodys they could fit in pieces in there?? and what tthey did with them after wards
I asked for a Blood Light!
dewey how would you like to find out, would you like to volunteer
Ohhhh, nice, and creepy at the same time
Dewey, it's a BLOOD bank refrigerator, one would store units of blood there (hence the labels) If it was a while back, maybe the units of blood were in glass bottles, I'm uncertain, althought the slots look like they were for holding plastic bags (units) of blood like we administer today.
