The Main Course

The Main Course

I tried the interactive experience of being caged and readied to be cooked... it was kind of boring! I had a good laugh though...

lol . . . . . . . . .
poor motts......... :-(
god those legs hanging out of the fireplace are driving me crazy!!
ME TOO!!!! AHHHHH!!!!
....lol cool
Motts, it was boring because you didn't have the actor they hired to play the witch hovering over you, pretending she was going to kill, cook, and eat you. ;-)
I think security finally picked you up Motts!!! LoL
For some reason this reminds me of that last scene in the movie The Blair Witch Project.
It's alittle disturbing to see a real person in The Gingerbread Jail.
I think it originally had a figure that looked like a gingerbread witch.
Okay, the fake shoes in the fireplace are
fah-reaking me out too. LOL
This place looks A LOT like this one park located in Wisconsin Dells I believe (or is there an Enchanted Forest there? or was there...?) Anyways, I probably was there when I was three, I remember the statues and stuff that looked just like this...and those feet and the cage...it was like the exact same thing was there.
there is one in wisconsin dells, though im not sure if its still open or not. shame we couldnt keep these parks open, would still be fun to visit, even in your 20's....
Hey...may have been boring, but the picture isn't. I love this shot!
Aaaahh! Those are stockings caught in the oven, evidence of someone trying to make their escape!Heeey...wait a minute!Upon closer inspection,I'd say they are Mott's socks being hung out to dry!Mott is just sitting, taking a breather in the waiting area........... : )
Haha I crapped myself when I seen you sitting there.
Better lay off the sweets, motts.
Motts is HOTTS!
wow motts, u r a good looking guy! whoooohoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
I see you in that pic..that's me up the chimney
I'm going to be nice.
This must be what you would call an "Enchanted" time out. : )
I have to ask Motts, what were you thinking? You look deep in thought. : )
He's probably thinking, "That bran muffin I ate a while ago feels like it's starting to wok, I shouldn't have had the 2nd cuppa coffee."
Big ED~ I think you may be right! LOL!
serves you right Motts! >< that's what you get for shoving some random innocent slob up the chimney! shame on you!
lol... I'm j/k ;)
Wish that was someone else I know going up that chimney! :-)
You have the right to be silent to be silence, Mr.Motts.
*sigh* If only you'd listened to our warnings about the monkeys.
Felyne, I almost just fell out of my chair!!
Yes JR, let this be a lesson to us all.

It could have been much worse than just jail time for you, Motts.
i was there to i was in the same spot
i feel bad t56hough that we had all that stuff giong on in the 60s but i feel the empty nes of abANDONEDMONT
errr? what happened to the comments, they're out of order. Is that something to do with my timezone?? I'm such a dork.
tsk tsk Felyne, you been hittin the catnip bag again? do I need to stuff you in the cage too? ; )

on second thought, the chimney looks like a better idea. looks pretty dang cozy, eh? but question... I dont recall anyone going up a chimney in hansel and gretel. I remember they shoved the witch in the oven... is that thing really an oven? that doesnt look like witch's feet either. wow, I'm spending waaaaay too much time trying to figure out this pic lol
I bet you could make a damn fine woodoven pizza in that thing. Mmmm....

Catnip?! Weird, my boss just told me one of the guys I work with thinks Im on P. WTF. Seriously though, the posts all messed up. My reply to you comes before you even wrote anything. I'm guessing it's because my timezone is ahead of this websites or something. Oh well, I just look like a complete goose because it won't make sense to anyone. Meh, not that I make much sense anyway....

And no, I don't recall any escapes via the chimney... perhaps its witchypoo flying off to capture more little kiddies .. or Elvis... Elvis has left the building
There is still one of these sites in operation in Latrobe, PA. I think its called Fairyland Forest. It mixes statues with live actors to tell the tales.
wiish i was there with u cutie Pie
Get it ( CUTIE PIE ) hahahahahaha
ooo Motts they finally caught you geeez . I love the picture and you are too cute.
There is a place in Ligonier, PA called Storybook Forest (near Idlewild Park I think) I remember that place when I was a kid, and then I took MY kids there when they were young (and older too) I may be wrong, but I think Storybook Forest once went thru a phase where the park was closed, but then it was "resurrected" It uses both figures and live actors to tell stories. A lot of the places smell like mildew tho. We had a little place near our home that was a type of StoryLand, I think, I believe I'm going to go that way tomorrow and check out whats remained of it.
The artist inhabits his art..........
hahaha
Always putting yourself in the way of danger, eh Sir? :-)
Looks Tasty
o-o wow and i thought this was a ruin but this is rediculous!!!
I would paint a keyhole with a sunny land in it, in the cage on the wall.
....

Yummy.

MUAHAHAHAHA!
motts has been arested!??! now who is going to bring us pictures
We have an Enchanted Forest; it's been around forever. Even when I was little it was ancient! our EF is right between a little town and a city, so it's pretty common for young adults my age to get summer jobs at that place... It's like something out of a weird dream. And it smells like it's been around for a good long while.
i think its the witch's feet.... or didnt she eat hansel or something.....???
