Amazing how rusted water on a bed can conjure up all sorts of nightmare and horror movie images.

These cribs remind me of the Post Office's wiresides we used when I worked at Aetna. Quite horrifying to think they'd put human beings in them for days....sad.....

for a long time i thought it was a hole in the mattress due to the reflection....reminded me of Johnny depps (<-for you Lynne) death in Nightmare on Elm Street...eaten by his bed

And how red rusty rust water can leave...Its crazy how it can stay on top of the mattress so perfectly. Tho the mattresses may have like a plastic coating on top...but STILL..ha

Amazing shot, it must be so wonderful to be able to go into these places and take photos. You're doing exactly what I want to do when I leave college, but what are the chances of that, eh? I can only dream :)

When I've seen it the first time I thought it's a hole in the bed, not some liquid. And I thought I've never seen that type of mattres... sinister idea, to make a hole in the mattres for patients who relieve themselfs in beds... but it also may be a nice way to prevent bedsores...random thinks

Because bricks and masonry were made weather weather. Beds and other things used inside were not, which is why they were kept inside. It's common sense... try it sometime... it's the best high ever.
