Probably used during transport to schock therapy.
That round thing on top of the table almost looks like a saw... gives this pic a scary effect.
I see orbs/ghosts, and this was obviously a shock therepy room where they would burn cat hair before bring pacients in, just to make it that much more horrible. The cats where kept in drawers and never fed and often died in the cabnets. Yes that is a soap dispensor not a light fixture...

Now that we have it out of our systems, we can move on to making useful posts =)
I heard all that orb stuff is bullshit. no offense but I don't understand how that works. maybe someone could explain?
Orbs are just dust particles really close to the lens(making them look big) and lit by the flash
All ready to go for est.
That Werner Erhard was everywhere, wasn't he? ;-)
Just think.............the last person laying on that gurney strapped down........ most likley going to the electric shock room
The gurneys can be used for other thing to everyone had to be restraind back then I don't see side rails. what are you talking about with the cat thing ack ?

Don't tell me this was used to kill the patients. Well, looks like it.
Oh wow that is really scary. It enrages me when I think about what it might have been used for. I have poem inspiration now too!

How could you treat me like this?
Make me so afraid?
Shock me until my ears ring,
Eating my small portion of sanity away
When you set me upon that THING
Why could you just torture me like that?
All the way to Hell
And actually GLOAT bacause nobody would believe me
So I couldn't ever tell.
thats just sick why would people want to do that to us and animals only freaking phsycopathic idiots i guess
OH GREAT,,,,now im hungry.
Hey, EMTs and medical folks who also hang out here - don't most of your gurneys, especially emergency gurneys, have straps? I know most of the ones I am familiar with do, and that is for "regular health care" as well as mental health.

Dang, people sure get all het up about "restraints as evil devices", don't they? 8`-)

Ambulance stretchers all have straps that go around the chest, waist, and legs of the patient. Their function is the same as a seat belt in a car; to protect the patient in the event of an accident.
restraints are NOT evil devices, They are your friend!
Anyone that uses restraints is a bad, evil person. Especially those mothers using 5 point restraints on their children every time they put them in the car, or the nurses at the old folks home near you who restrain some residents when they use the toilet so that they don't fall off and break a hip. Bad, evil ...
8`-)
Interesting (and CREEPY !) photos. One can't help but wonder what types of "medical proceedures" really were done to the patients ???
ONE can't, but with the help of a second person, it CAN happen. :-)
I was one time given a forehead seatbelt
anybody else see the reclining lady on the wall? Her head is in the corner, and her one hand is up near the heat vent.
Iggy, I think that "forehead seatbelt" is used when a cervical spinal injury is suspected. It keeps the head immobilized so that more serious damage is done.
