The Back Wards

The Back Wards

The very end of the building, reserved for the most violent patients, twisted it's way through the blackness.

Can you imagine the hell a day in this place as a patient must have been?
Is that shadow meant to be there because its very spooky
That's me lighting the hallway.
Almost has an industrial feel to me
Thats Grimm.
Waves to Grimm need a new sycth?
what is the blue lighting effect at the far end?
That's some natural sunlight getting into the building... it looks blue because I had the white balance set to a tungsten (orange) light, so that areas lit by flashlight show true color.
That thing at the end of the hallway (with what looks like eyes in a black face) looks like the demon from "Night on Bald Mountain" in Disney's "Fantasia."
i have no idea what your talking about with a demon sorta thing
So Motts, when you go to these places, I assume you have to bring all your own lighting because it's so dark?
that scared the shit outta me i need a hug now
here ... "HUG"
That seems... odd.It feels like a prison to me , and what could that lighting in the back? But, overall it gave me a pleasantly spooky chill.I like the piont of view.
That's awesome! and the black thing looks so awesomely creepy!
I live in the wrong state. I have nothing like this here....what a bummer
Holy schneikies, Motts! That's really creepy with your shadow slinking down the hallway like that!
What a magnificent name for an asylum. Gravesend. Almost as good as Hellingsley Asylum. Wouldn't you think someone would have a wee think about that before they hung the shingle out? Bless them...
The original Gravesend is in Kent, East of London, Pocahontas died there & is burried in a church yard in the town.
very creepy but awesome.
what a cartoonishly evil name. i wonder if they thought about it before they decided
The name "Gravesend" is a pseudonym for this hospital.
That shadow makes me think of the girl from the Grudge. I don't know why.
How spooky!
i was a patient there for a yr. for being a stubborn child. at age 11.i ran away a couple of times
Motts that is a cool shot.
wow :| that shadow looks like a little kid or something:|
It looks more like a zoo than a place for people
Jesus, help me. That shadow isn't right. At all. It's like a triple exposure with malformed shadow in front AND behind...
i live in the wrong country - we have NOTHING like that here....
Haha.. "violent patients"... that wouldve been me... jk
Holy Moly, Motts, you have outdone yourself with this picture!
