Very disturbing picture. Makes you wonder whats around that corner.
And what used to be there.
Creepy!
I really like this picture. It's my favorite so far. It made me feel scared and uneasy...like I am really a patient.
it makes me feel like somebody/something is following me & i'm about to tip over, but once i fall i'm not going to b able to get up...or maybe i'm just beeing psychotic...
Makes me feel escaped, alone and ready for new chances, and worlds.
I find this quite disturbing...
this is.........disturbing. that's the only word I could think of. O.O
very freaky looking something makes you wonder whats lurking around the corner
It feels to me as if I'm being drawn into another world, something strange and alien. The lighting is something else... Fantastic shot...
Wow... it makes me want to run towards the door towards the light... but afraid because you dont know what lurks about... brilliant picture!
the most impacting pic in the site, nice work using the dutch angle, i love your work
I would have had to run through this passage. Amazing shot........
DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT!!!
Bah. Why is there so much of that horrid red in this place?
is it just me or are som of thies rooms slightly tilted to the right??
Face in between two windows on the right
Motts, are those BARS housing patients? Looks like a prison....not good
No, those are the wooden window frames holding the panes of glass in.

When these places were built (before the advent of plastics and other strong synthetics), metal bars or screens were often the only way to prevent people from jumping out of windows and down stairwells.
I don't know why but when I look at this picture I imagine the bars as cages to a room. I see myself in an old-fashioned nurses uniform walking down the corridor, patients' arms clawing at the air through the bars. I ignore them but a scared feeling is over whelming.
Amazing shot, by far my favourite.
blackness has a certain way of making a lot of colors look scary.
Houses back then didn't have lots of bars like this. This was a prison most of these people probably never had freedom again how sickening. These pictures tell us a story on the outside what we couldn't see when this place was in operation.
