Once again another awesome shot
My friends and I were on that very roof at night. It was actually not cloudy at all. We we're resting their for a minute until my friend recieved a voice mail. While he was listening to it, we heard screams towards 93. Then, my other friend and I were looking at building 93 and saw a vague image of a girl jumping off the roof.

He told us to get out right away and wouldn't tell us why. We left, and his voicemail didn't tell him what number it came from, and was just a conversation between 3 people asking 'how to get up there' and eventually lead to screaming.

The only time something paranormal happened there. It was really messed up.
This is probably a question that was asked before but whats up with the abandoned hospitals being right next to power plants?
The power plants were built specifically for the hospital as most institutions were situated in remote areas where they could not connect to a city's steam and power lines. Coal was brought in by locomotive and burned to generate enough power and steam (for heat) to supply these massive hospital campuses.

This power plant at Kings Park is actually the fourth plant built over the lifetime of the hospital.
wow...amazing view.
@Motts: how did you get that information? :O
@Meri:The hospital has it's own power plant...xD
Melissa, check out the book: The Farm Colonies: Caring for New York City's Mentally Ill In Long Island's State Hospitals by Leo Polaski. It has tons of information and photos from the four big Long Island state hospitals - Kings Park, Pilgrim, Edgewood, and Central Islip.
