I'm wondering why this place is still standing....
I'v been going to pennhurst for the past few months now..I think it is the most interesting place i'v ever seen. If anyone can tell me how to get into the infirmiray i would like to know. Has anyone been into the "south tunnels" if so i would like to know where they are too. Anyone with any stories?
Once again. We are forced to remind new visitors that the information on these buildings is not given out. PERIOD.
Stop asking.

By the looks of it, those things are 50,000 years old! : ()

The chair in the back looks like it's crawling forward.
Kinda sad
it looks as if someone is standing at the far end of the corridor. Motts who is the person standing over there? is it a friend of you, or yourself?
institutions are very cruel to the people with disabilitis. This is sad. I'm happy that pennhust close.

Yes, it does look like someone is standing in the door way at the very end of the hall. Also, the light coming thru from the left of the picture shows a cross formation on the right wall. Interesting shot.
How did all the damage get done to a closed hospital, even the ceiling tiles are missing? That don't happen just because some windows (not many of) get busted out.
ceiling has some water damage
That place is gonna fell apart some day
no it isnt
