interesting contrast between the ridgid uniformity of the lights and disaray of the benches.
at the top of the loft there is a guy in a baseball hat with his head down
a friend of motts?
Possibly...
Your lighting on this one? It's great, mostly natural??
im impressed this photo is great the light the clarity...........makes me wish i was brave enough to enter these places on my own
What is that red thing on stage?
last february my friend and i uncovered that ladder from the rubble and put it up against the projection booth, and cut my hand in the process.
is this how this place actually use to look like or over the years did it become like this
Over the years, Simone, years of neglect and decay.
empty now once was filled with life.
unknown lonlyness
So lonely. It's like looking out to find nothing. It's like when I'm in a play and my family or friends don't come to one of the nights-i feel like there's no one in the crowd. I bet kids here felt the same, except they didn't get to hop in their car and drive home to coffee and family after the show ends.
ahhhhH!!! thats really scarey
Ok... now, for those of you that say there are no ghosts in here, please shut the fu*k up, because everytime i go into this building i get a small girl in a dingy dress, maybe age 8-10, and it happens EVERYTIME, the time before last, i was walking out and seen her walking by the entrance, than last time i went, we heard the laughter and the foot steps, but we stayed a few minutes longer because i was interested in somthing i found, so after i was done looking and getting my picture, we started walking out and we heard her cry a little bit, then she said "Good bye"... this is %100 true, i don't lie when it comes down to this kinda stuff, and not only that, but then i was going into the building to the left of the childrens building (the one with 3 floors that feel like they are going to cave in) we were entering the building with the steps in the back, that leads to the tunnels, and when we walked up, all the doors in the childrens building started slamming shut and open, i know it wasnt some kids or anything, cuz there was no lights or sounds or anything, and all the doors just started slamming, shit was intense, so to say the least, we fuckin took off like a bat out of hell, time i went after that was a daytime trip, i needed to recover after that shit, ya feel me.
Oh, sorry. I always forget to launder that dress.
Navi...what have we told you about freaking out the explorers girl?!
Looks like somebody went crazy during the head banger ball.

Signed: An American Soldier in Germany.
I'm disappointed...no one has mentioned the soap dispensers hanging from the ceiling (apparently they are too high for the little girl to reach to wash her dress....
I think this one causes me the most sadness. It looks as if everyone left quite quickly, and like someone still stands on the stage after all of his audience has left. it looks like no one cares.
smoked a blizz L there on that stage
crystal u have a gud eye
The light fixtures here are really cool. Original school house lights. Very vintage.
Bottom left corner on the stage. Looks like pieces of one of those older artificial Christmas trees. It's kinda sad looking.
Does anyone else see the figure of a boy in the balcony? He is sitting on the edge with his leg hanging over......really creepy...
is it me? or does it look like there's a person on the top floor curled up?
this looks so simmilar to the theatre at henryton insane asylum that burned down in eldersburg md.
I saw the boy sitting back on the balcony about 4 secs. after i looked at the picture. unless that was painted there, there is definitely a boy or male sitting almost with his head in his hands or reading to the top left on the balcony.
This was the Assembly Building. It was located away from the rest of the campus.
it looks good
It's nice to see those hanging lights haven't fallen prey to vandals. At least as of 2005 when this was photographed.
Crystal's right.
its so strange how they just left the supplies for plays and concerts in the building like they didnt clean the place out. kings park has this too like rooms filled with board games .... like no one wanted to take that stuff? i work in an office and i know if we were closing everyone i work with would definately be cheap and take as much stuff as they could. i dont know maybe people are much cheaper now than they were 30 years ago, im not really sure but seeing things like this give me the weird idea that one day everyone working there was like "eh fuck this, lets go" for real.whats up with that?
