ok, I see 2 strange things in this picture. First, at the end of the hall near the double doors - on the right, there seems to be a shadow figure, and, if you look at the right door window it looks like a face is looking through it --- or is it just my eyes playing tricks???

It's the beginning of a stairwell up to the roof hatch and catwalk entry. Of course, the shadowy-figure theory is much more intruiging.

With all due respect... If you look at the picture with the intent of finding some sort of ghostly figure, yes, you'll see just that. I urge people to remember that not every odd shape and shadow is a shadow figure or a mysterious face! Something beyond the window which we can't see clearly could easily be causing an odd shadow that sort of looks like it could maybe be a face, and the shadow figure has already been explained.

why then should it bother you if someone sees a view different than yours? I believe that is what the whole it' about... each person's point of view..... (Motts, I hope you didn't mind me writing this, I know its not a message board)

Totally encaptured by these pictures, oddly i don't know why.
As for the above image, It's not the first time a picture has been taken with a person in the scene, it does look like someone else is viewing one of the rooms, i would'nt put it down to being a spooky shadow figure at all.
Window image - Zoom in 250, you'll see it's in no shape or form a humans image, just a trick of the eye.

abandoned facilities with tragic histories are the stuff that ghost stories are made of and this wonderful site is the place where they all come together, the urban explorers, the fans of nice pictures and the ghost hunters and this site is the bonanza to them all. so who would wonder about what people are searching for in all this marvelous pics. and who would condemn what they find. :-)

and about whats real and whats unreal there can only be one answer: "nobody knows!"

This is an airy hallway shot and the peeling paint really adds to that initial feeling. I still fail to see the face people have mentioned earlier, though... :P

the "skylight" at the top actually kinda looks like a door.... with 2 windows on either side of it, as if u were to walk up to the front door of an older house. most of them had the door in the middle, with the 2 windows on either side of the door, and 2 small square windows at the top...oh, and btw, i c the face as well !!
