So I know personally a few of my friends came in here when they were younger. They had no idea what Pennhurst was.. since they were only 10. But i do remember them telling me about how they were knocking over pews in an abandoned church. And then I came across this page and showed them.. and they said that this theater was the very same "church."
That looks so neat. i want to go in it, but i wouldnt know how to find anything with all the diff. buildings..but good shot for sure!

i lived on ph grounds in a trailer park just under womens building in 1972 for 2years after the flood it wasnt bad . they didnt bother us . and we made friends with some in mates...this was a theater they showed movies .we got to go to see them with a black woman named hellen who lived there. later my mom worked there ..she was an aid..she used to pray for them .she saw the hurt in their eyes ..it was a home to them.
