Projectors

The projectors were fairly stripped, but still seemed to be in good condition.

Nice shot motts, hey dude that projector was knocked down and has been distoryed. my friend and I tryed to pick it up and place it bak , however it was way to heavy.
this is when the children were bad they would put there pingers ion the spinng blade and it would chop them to becuse then they would berry the kids in the grave yard
Pingers? What are these pingers of which you speak? Should I have pingers? I'm pretty sure I don't......
Sian, don't you have 10 pingers and ten poes? I do!
Better yet "they would berry the kids"

Is that straw or blue?
Old Simplex 35mm projectors with a carbon-arc light source. They still have one of these running in a theater in western Kansas.
What would a place like this be doing with equipment of this caliber?
I really wish some people would use A: Spell check then copy and paste into the comments OR B: Get that Phonics Monkey of your back. I make mistakes here and there and let them go, but I know it is 'See you later!" and not "CUL8R". Okay, I'm done. I don't know if want to trade my fingers for pingers.
Could probably get that thing to run with abit of work more then likely, stuff back then was built pretty durable.
hummm western electric amps in there? if so there could be 400$ worth of amp sitting on the floor.neat pic
lets scrap them 4 money
Lets not money hunters!
I am saddened that someone would comment about the value of the equipment for 'this type of place.' I don't know the intent of the person--but I took it to mean that 'this place' that housed those with physical disabilities or intellectual disabilities did not deserve such quality equipment. Many residents were capable of understanding and enjoying movies...they certainly did not know of the outside world that placed them here, and in many if not most cases, forgot about them.
Where are ya, Eldokid? Hehe...great old machine...
