Administration Entrance

These abandoned buildings could be mistaken for active ones easily.

If I had to guess, I'd probably place this building at anywhere from late 1890's to early 1920's... would you agree? They're definitely in great shape- couldn't have been disused for too long.
yea its nice
What state is this in?
NY
Thanks! I love this site. You have quite a technique in the way you photograph and present these buildings and grounds - very artistic yet respectful, gentle, and open-minded - it's very much appreciated.
Here In Dwight, IL, we have an old hospital that is now a museum. The architecture on this building and the building in my town look very similar, around the mid 1800's. Very nice photography!
I really hope they save this place.
That is so awesomely cool
Yes... I knew it!!! The main building has only been empty for about 3 years... alot of vandalism has gone on though...
Too much damage to save it- the outer buildings have just been left to deteriorate for years... that's NY State for you
It's not just New York, Erin, it's EVERYWHERE!!!! Had a BEAUTIFUL old restaurant that used to be a horse and buggy stop in the 1800's near where I lived; they tore it down and build a WaWa.
picture it cleaned up . fresh paint ,new garden plantings some wicker. maybe a porch swing . could be a nice vacation spot .
looks like a courthouse.
This building is actually currently owned by the city of buffalo even though it is a tremendous distance from buffalo. A couple years ago they tried to sell it to a logging company for the acreage for pennies but luckily preservationists stepped in and prevented this landmark from being raized.
I love the pillars! It looks like a southern mansion.
Beautiful
I can't believe that it can be left to waste, it's a shame that treasures like this are left behind...
what a nice building!
