Theater

Black and white checked floors are awesome... staring at these is like a optical illusion.

It only takes one to throw the entire thing off.....
The checkered floors are also Masonic. Was this a meeting hall for Free Masons?
I don't think so. As far as I know the place was a TB hospital then converted to a developmental center.
Do you know when this place closed?
April, 1993.
Place is in great condition
Oh my god.... Straight out of a David Lynch film!!
this theater looks like it was inspired by escher, or vice versa.
Damn, I didnt know there was another Nick on these boards...I guess I'll have to go by Neo from now on. Oh well, Neo is a cooler name anyway....right?
It looks as if there was a fire drill and everyone left the building. It looks so nice.
All you need is some chairs and some Mop and Glo and this place would be back in business
This place is almost spotless! Whoever owns this now seems to care whether it's empty or not.
my uncle is a mason, he says, that most mason buliders, were (and are weird) and do crazy little mason-traditions in all they bulid. Its almost a respect thing. He said he dates the buliding to be made about the early 1930's
It looks more like a cafeteria than a theater. My middle school's cafe looked a lot like this, minues the black and white tiles.
Thats Happy.
It just looks so clean..
This would make a great great livingroom!
This is epic.

So clean, and well preserved.
It looks like they just left for the night. Awfully clean for being abandoned. Why let buildings like this go to rot and ruin? This could be used! The architecture is beautiful in this hospital.
Yes, the janitor has been keeping it nicely clean....it looks as though it was used last week...
very clean i like it
oh wow.i adore checkered floors esp the old ones like this...just beautiful..take me with you when you go again mr motts!!! pleasee
