another great staircase shot, very ornate. This reminds me of a staircase in an apartment building I lived in in Brooklyn, NY. The building was built somewhere in the late 1800's.
Absolutely LOVE the banister and iron work

*steals it and runs away* lol
Wow this place is in good shape, some peeling paint but really outside of that there is very little damage!
beautiful staircase, like the contrast between the dark railings and steps and the light coming through both the windows.
Beautiful, beautiful staircase! Kind of reminds me of the Titanic's lovely grand staircase.
Nancy, you read my mind. That was the very first thing I thought of when I saw this picture.
this place looks great! Where is it?
Grace and elegance.......captured so well.
Unique shot. Lovely bannister. Though I would get tired from walking up and down all those steps. LOL
Love the railing....
Worked here for years and live down the road..it's [name removed].
Just look at that woodwork. Think of all the people who scampered up & down those stairs over the years.
I love the stariwells in so many of these old places....art work among the relics...
