Unknown Substance

I'm guessing rusty water leaked from the ceiling, but there may be a different story.

Or really old blood. Here's hoping it's rust!

No I'm right. It's vomit...
some of these images are so vivid and lively, you can feel it. and this picture makes me smell something putrid. i cant tell you how many of these pictures of yours i have looked at Motts and when the room is dusty or rusted, i feel like i cant breathe! its amazing what the mind can do
Reminds me of the Shining when Jack Nickelson is walking toward the tub.
yeaa.... b.c when is there ever a dried up puddle of rust?? idiots
Human fluid.
I say it's rust- there's no way they'd leave blood lying around, even if it was dry, and however quickly they were evacuating the building; it'd be too much of a health hazard.
could be blood, puke, or crap from one of the previous UEs or bums.
humman fluid i agree with that Guitorman guy
you people are wierd i was just lookin up the site cuz i saw the movie house on huanted hill
Oh, yikes, ghost from that place...

That movie kinda sucks. This stuff is way better. It's real. =D
Something has splattered against the wall and dripped down on the floor; like something was thrown against the wall. Whatever it was, is gone; all but the fluid left behind to mark the spot where something died.
It looks like a Snork (80's cartoon) posted on the right side wall leading into the room.
ugh..whether its a body fluid or not, its still gross
I like it.. makes me think what sorta things may have happened there. Scary
Thought provoking, definitely.
