this is my favorite your a awsome photographer
If I had a bigger photo to work with I could remove the fence using PhotoShop, but the quality and size is too small to do a decent job =( I love how tthey used plexiglass instead of normal plywood. Hopefully they will take care of this site for sometime into the future. Or reuse it without butchering it, like Danvers.
Yes, the plexiglass is great, and also the fact that it's lit at night and you are allowed to photograph it is really great; it shows that the city hasn't shunned the hospital, they are quite proud of it.
*cries* I love Danvers, I'm going to stand infront of that goddamn wrecking ball so they can't demolish ANY of the buildings.
The eyes of the building just stare at you in the most forboding way. It's a face that tells one what the're entering. The fence just emphasises the ponderness of it all.
Take away the fence and the sign and it reminds me of an old civil war photo.
Love how the windows on the left side get longer with each floor.
The Wed night meatloaf dinners were fantastic!
Effe, I like those windows too. Motts, I'm assuming that's where some of the staircases are located?
Yes, that is correct.
Actually, those windows on the first floor (the ones that increase in size) are where a bathroom is located. (Its a very pretty bathroom, too - the windows are trimmed with oak, and the entire room is pannelled with oak, too).
Id sure love to see the inside of this building. The outside is so awesome. Im glad they are saving it
