Wheelchair Repair

Wheelchair Repair

Wheelchairs of many different shapes and sizes crowded every room in this place. Many needed to be custom made for people with varying disabilities, and repaired often, which is what this room seemed to be for.

I've never heard of anybody getting a flat tire on a wheelchair. Maybe they fixed bicycles too.
Pimp my wheel chair.
Maybe we could make our own show American Wheel Chair.
Seriously nothing like a place to have your wheels fixed or a place to customize you chair for ya.
In by 9, out by 5.
Can I get racing wheels on mine, really pimp it out
Yes, I need a wheelchair with back support and a leg rest....and a 400 horse power engine and flames! yes!

haha seriously though, really great picture. Never heard of a wheelchair repaire room...but I guess everything needs to be repaired. "Hello, I'm Bob, and I'm a Wheelchair Repairman."
Most, if not all, developmental centers have areas for the repair of wheelchairs. A large number of people who live at these facilities use wheelchairs to get around, so it is more than just an inconvenience if one breaks down.
Wouldent the ship these wheel chairs to diffrent hospitals instead of leaving them there to never be used again?
The pictures shows alot of parts on the floor. That looks like they repaired wheelchairs there.Parts from one would be used to fix another. After awhile you end up with alot of extra parts.
That's so cool !

Very first thing that came to my mind is the Joni Erickson 'outreach program'.

What a waste this is.
UPDATE: Joni Erickson's "Wheels For The World"
It is a shame that all of these things go to waste. Imagine the archaeologists of the future...what will they say about us?
Wheelchair graveyard!
looks like alot of people broke their legs in this dump
Now if Lamp and Typewriter could just get Wheelchair down here, they have a really good chance at escape, don't they?
boy, the more i look at, the more heartbreaking it is. it is too bad that these buildings on the site could have been saved and made into something of use. the grounds were beautiful. a nice apartment building would have been nice. everything gets destroyed. too bad - i had worked there
Why are pictures of wheelchairs so creepy? Why do we associate them with fear?
Wheelchairs galore!
i need a picture of an 1800 wheelchair.this is a buisiness by the way.
