Window Detail

So, I am guessing you were perched precariously on this slippery roof just to bring us such a marvelous shot?

Ummmm..... I usually hate to be the first one to say anything, but does anyone else see the white face in the upper right hand side of the arch of the window? Or is this just a shadow of something else?

comparing the two, you can also see a woman's smiling mouth in Mott's window. Almost like the pic is superimposed over another.

damn motts, now that i look at them both you got all the "cool" stuff in yours! I see a white "face like" thing in motts shot, but I don't believe in ghosts, so it must be something reflecting...

heh looking at it again, it looks like the face of a man, peering out, but also using one of his hands to block the sun, just as you would on a sunny day... its kinda late, maybe im seeing into this too much!

Strange window design

I love the way the whole thing draws the eye upward--the point of the roof, the window, and the treatment above the window. The whole pic is like a big arrow.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to get this picture without catching your own reflection? It seems like such a straight on shot, that one would think you would show up somewhere in the window...

Yo, this is crazy i am so scared right now.Of all the times I was at pennhurst I have never seen anything like this. I am seriously in shock. I have a picture that I took standing in the back of the auditorium looking at the stage,it was night time and i sware to you,you can see like 75 orbs but nothing as clear as this. thanks for a good scare motts.

no way that has to be a face, it is to distinct and has facial features, to be a window arch reflection

its deffinatly the reflection of the building facing the window its the very top tower of it.

I've been cruising thru Mott's galleries for the past few days (stumbled across this page doing research on an abandoned asylum in my area)
Anywho, as far as "suspect" images, shadows, reflections go, these collections of Riverside pictures have startled me on a few occasions.
Most notably, the "Collasped Floor" pic in the "Gatherings" gallery... while the story of the littleold lady with the walker in the background was entertaining, I noticed something completely different straight away-
In the center of the picture, the light is shining down and where the floor/ ceiling is collasped, left of the splintered wood, I clearly see a woman's face at the end of them beam of light.
Now, I'm certain it is just the light hitting the collasped floor/ceiling- BUT damn, it made me jump!
Same thing with baldy in this picture :)
I must be punch drunk tired.... but then again... you never really know ;)
