i like the strange angles and the windows in all these rooms
OK, so maybe THIS is my favorite shot of all time. There is something about the way you line up window shots in these great rooms . . . . . . .
What a great view from these windows
Okay, so when we all chip in and buy one of these great old asylums, I have first dibbs on this room!
you couldn't pay me enough to spend a night in this place. Well, let me re-phrase. Everyone has a price.....
Do people still use these kind of radiators ? Again, why two in such a small room. I'm guessing they give a lot of heat off.. or maybe not?
Hey-were these all in the attic?
This room looks like it's perfectly intact.
Ah.. the lost art of plaster... Well preserved.
Oh, I love this shot. I could live in this room forever!! The walls look like velvet or satin. And the view!! WOW!!
this place is hunted
Are you a rock hunter?
I wounder why the radiators are so close together? I love to rock hunt its a great way to escape.
doesn't it make you feel like you have to duck?
The radiators in my house look like these, just not as long.
i wondered about the radiators too, especially since the one under the windows seems about double the length of a typical room's radiator. Even if the room did require two radiators, I don't think they would normally be so close together, unless that was just done for convenience of installation because that's where the piping was. Where's our resident HVAC expert? Anyway, on a cold winter night with those windows rattling in the wind, I know where I want to be! BTW, is that pipe across the ceiling a retrofitted sprinkler?
I think the pipe across the ceiling is the retrofitted electrical conduit for the lights. They're in every room and I don't see a sprinkler head.

But I could be totally wrong, too.
