I love the intact curtains!
you're right Ed...the intact curtains are lovely...and I like the colours!!!!
Great shot! Motts, did you tie back the curtains all perfect like that, or were they just like that? The contrast is great - all around, things falling apart, and yet the curtains are neatly tied back.
Thanks; no I didn't touch the curtains.
Hee hee! Motts the interior decorator, sneaking into abandoned ruins just to spruce the place up a bit and freshen the decor! :-)
OMG! Lynne, you have done it again, Stay outa my head! what a funny image, huh? Mr.Motts on tiptoes fluffing pillows and ironing nurses uniforms, tying back curtians, hooooboy! what an image!
^ hahaha lmao!!!!
...and all the while, with a serene smile.... : )
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that these pictures were takenin the Kirkbride complex??
Just out of curiousity, how often do you photograph just what is there, and how often do you move elements specifically for the picture? Not that it really matters, all of your pictures are beautiful, but I was just curious if you always found scenes like that, or if you had to manipulate any.
this room looks rather cleaned up? did u do that? lol
Pretty curtains! This room is really clean, but I'm sure the blue walls looked harsh under fluorescent lighting.
I have to agree with Ed
Is it just me, or is the thing on the left an intercom panel?
One of the more nice room at the home. It tells so many stories. It's mind boggling in so many ways. This is the room of a trusted patient who earned it by being a good boy or girl after at least 5 years of institutional care. Bless there balmy souls.
does it sound sick if I say "lovely"?
I love those curtains!
