Again, this resembles the gym from the Marion, VA hospital, so eerie and nostalgic in a strange, PTSD-ish sort of way.

You know morgues are often located in the strangest of places, I am familiar with a hospital in my area in which the morgue is right at the end of a short hall from the main cafeteria...and this is a well used cafeteria which is always lively and bustling. I often look down that hall while I'm in there and wonder if people could finish their lunches if they knew what lurked just beyond that stainless steel door.

The floor in there is so clean since they abated that wing, it looks brand new, minus the holes in the walls.

Yes, quite strange, but then again, over in Cleburne, TX there is a really good hamburger stand right next to what used to be the Johnson County Jail, then Youth Services (AKA Juvenile Hall or something like that), now its Johnson County Emergency Operations and the Johnson County Morgue. Not sure if its the County Morgue facility or the Medical Examiner's Office.

I know in Brevard County, FL they are in the same facility (used to do janitorial off and on there), and in Alachua County they are separate. I think it is the Morgue facility though. So yeah, hamburger stand (and a damn good one I must say) next to the morgue.
