Parties, thats what happened. Kids would have parties in the freezers thinking the thickness would hold in the sound, so they'd be in there partiyng blasting music not realizing the tiles amplified the sound, you could hear it all over the campus.

i hate all this in juneau thay just kicked the homless off whate thay call the hill thay have a mission but know one likes it states countys have plenty of land we pay taxes on when we are able to work let thes people camp write a letter to me tell your story glory hole steve todd iam homless also and pissed

Interesting photo. I suspect it was either other explorers or kids playing a joke. Those caution/police line tapes are not all that expensive.

Y'know, It could be that there were mutant frozen hot dogs in there and they decided to have a merry old time of things when some poor chap got fooled, took them out, defrosted them and got attacked. Or maybe the power went out, temperature rose and then the attacks happen... Ok, ok ok. Yes, it is a Regular Show reference (sort of) but I just could not resist. Really cool and excellent shot though. Those type of doors you see on walk-in freezers and the like are really cool. Kinda reminds me of Bank Vault doors or even doors protecting nuclear underground bunkers and the like. Motts, my man, another classic award-winning shot!
