it is a shame but they stoped cutting the grass, it is still beautiful but not as eerie as when the bldg was dead and the grounds we still kept up.

The Washington & Baltimore Railroad
had a stop near the hospital.

The railroad line became
George Palmer in 1941
then the name was changed too
Martin Luther King Jr Highway-1986

The old railroad is now used for
bikers and runners.

Man, I now know how to easily keep kids out of exploring urban ruins... get a "Halloween Sounds" CD, stick it into a player on repeat, put it somewhere in the building where it will echo just enough to sound like the place is haunted.

I'll bet it works better than any alarm or security guard alive.

Hey some of those "halloween Sounds" are pretty scary, lol. But yeah that would scare alot of people away easy. I heard all kinds of wierd noises when I went out there. Once we even found a just opened Zima sitting in a stairwell on like the 4th floor...needless to say we got the hell outta there lol.

A zima is a low proof alcoholic drink. kind of like a beer. im assuming that there were other trespassers as well that were just as spooked from hearing noise. i would leave my drink too and get the hell out of there. i will be going shorty so i will be sure to come back and comment my sightings.

yea i agree with please, law man dan and the rest of those rent-a-cops need to get a real job and let us teenagers have sum fun, y does it matter if the bldg gets vandalyzed, itz gettin torn down soon anyways

As a kid growing up we had so much speculation about this place. If it was haunted and so forth. We never had the courage to step foot on the grounds. Thanks for this.
