Children's Building

The building is much larger than it looks here.

Boy this place certainly is ready to tumble down. It's in rough shape.
Roll the ghostly giggles and eerie singsong voices. >shudder<
this place looks really cool to wonder through where is it on the property?
I can't believe the absolute perfection you pulled off in this shot considering the condition of the building. Thank the Good Lord for those who know how to get it done! lol
Yep, that's the building alright.
hey we were just there on 1-27-06..got some really nice pictures too, we went into the tunnels and everything, ended up in the basement of the adult hospital and had to walk right past the security guard trailer, cops were everywhere, careful.
has any one ever seen the doll...i thnk it's in this hospital..
that is really haunted i have been in there 1 time and that all i need
yea i bin dere it was creepy i was soo scared i was ganna piss on my self
Guard Trailer? Ive been IN that building! Not to explore, but to have them take my information down and threaten me. That was back in the 80's, so I imagine they are a little more 'aggressive' these days. Jerks.

Last time there, we waited along the great big pine tree line and heard CRAZY sounds coming from teh woods. That place is MEGA-haunted! (I had my Niece and Nephew along, so I didnt penetrate the perimeter - sorry for the language, former JarHead here.)
Semper Fi!
the building actually isnt in that bad of shape... me n a couple of my friends went there last nite and waled thru it... it was pretty creepy but we got all the way to the roof top and found other kids party'n up there... then we all go tresspassing citations from the park police! lol 10/27/06
i have gone to this site and i heard banging noises
its kinda creepy even during the day
the police caught me in there once.................alone and i was about 2 get into trouble but i told him that i was a solo paranormal investigator and he believed it!
i went and saw a kid in the windo look on the left (your left) he had only one arm
I could not go in one of these buildings sober
I'm not sure why tis photo is different, but I love it. It looks so lonely. All the shots from this trip that show nature climbing the buildings just makes me think of how humans extract material from the earth for our use and then abandon them and then nature slowly reconsumes what we took...
i like that tree

yo motts i just got some fucking poison ivy all over my leg. is there a lot of it over there at the hosptial
yeah last time i went there i got on the roof n the cops came but luckily they left and we didnt get caught
went to this building last night...it started out with about 25 of us but 8 ended up stayin...all the doors and most windows on ground level was boarded up...police are definitly watchin the place with night vision goggles...got hit with community service but other than that it was a creepy experience...didnt experience anything but had this gut feeling that we wasnt suppose 2 be there
I WENT TO THIS PLACE IN EARLY OCTOBER WITH ABOUT 10 OF MY FRIENDS AND I ALSO HAD A FEELING LIKE WE WERE'NT WANTED THERE. WE DIDN'T GET CAUGHT BUT WE SAW A FEW THINGS. AS WE WERE WALKING DOWN A PATH (WHICH WAS THE WRONG WAY) A DOG RAN TOWARDS US AT FULL SPEED AND AS IT GOT CLOSE IT DISAPPEARED. ABOUT 5 MINUTES LATER WE SPOTTED THE DOG BY THE SIDE OF THE PATH AND WE FOLLOWED THE DOG UNTIL WE SPOTTED THE CHILDRENS BUILDING. WE WENT INSIDE AND AS SOON AS WE GOT IN WE SAW AN ADULT SHADOW RUNNING DOWN THE HALLWAY AFTER A CHILD'S SHADOW. EVERYBODY WAS FREAKED OUT AND RAN BACK OUTSIDE THE BUILDING. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES WE WENT BACK INSIDE AND CONTINUED WALKIN THRU THE BUILDING. WE WERE IN THE BULIDING FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES BUT DIDNT SEE ANYTHING ELSE. AS WE WERE LEAVING THE BUILDING WE HEARD VOICES OF A GROUP OF CHILDREN LAUGHING AND PLAYING. IT SOUNDED LIKE ONE OF THEM WAS RIGHT BESIDE ME TALKING BUT WHEN I LOOKED THERE WAS NUTHING THERE. BY THIS TIME I WAS COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT AND WAS READY 2 GO. THIS PLACE REALLY IS HAUNTED SO IF UR INTERESTED IN THIS KIND OF STUFF THEN IT WOULD BE A GOOD EXPERIENCE BUT IF NOT STAY HOME BECAUSE U WILL SEE OR HEAR SOMETHING...
Ive been there several times in '06 never got caught. But I have heard voices and seen shadows in the windows next to the side parking lot.
This photo defines.....the term "abandoned."
I'd love to see some photos of this place while it was still in operation back in the day.

I can't help but feel so curious when I drive by it and see it in its deformed shape.
this is the building we got in.........scary shit!
we went in this building too but we didnt see anything weird or hear anything but what's really scary about the children's building is that the elevator doors are open on every floor even when the elevator isnt at that floor and if you look down the shaft its really creepy.
wow, this is a creepy picture....
Anyone ever go through the tunnels at glendale
This was not just a children's bldg. Adults were treated there also.
i just went up there a couple of weeks ago and found the tunnels. most of them are dry but some have water almost up to your ankle. So make sure you bring your mudd boots! its definitley cool down there!
how do you go about contacting the guards to get permission to go inside?
asking them only puts them more on alert for when you try to sneak back in when they ask you to leave. you really need to know someone to get on the grounds without arrest
