it's curious..I bought an an album in the late 70's sold as "new wave"(it wasn't) but it was strange.
Scott Brown uses the term "enigmatic' in his description.
there was a composition on this album(yes,12 inche vinyl as I still have all of mine) called "Enigmatic Toads", the album was produced by Tom Scott,and the lable logo featured the darkened sillouette of a large radar tower.
