Gaping Maw

Gaping Maw

This thick plastic window was melted by one of many fires started inside... it now resembles melting flesh.

For some reason that reminds of the movie Evil Dead
Very bizarre!
Evil Dead....aweful movie....just aweful!! ;) Great photo though....awesome capture.
Looks like the back of one's throat to me, see the uvula?
The Devil's Tonsils.
It very much does look like a huge open mouth. If someone painted some glaring eyes above it it would be really creepy looking.
We should not encourage such things or surely The Beast will appear on its on accord.
man that is one huge bottom lip...
if u just glance at the picture for a second it looks like there is a person....or maybe thats just me....
Look out! It will swallow you!
I know I'd feel weird walking through that thing, especially in the dark with only a flashlight.Very creepy.
it look's like candle wax melting off the window.
Looks like pizza dough. I'm not morbid enough.
That thing would startle the bejeezus out of me if I came across it in a pitch-black, burned-out building. Which is probably one of the reasons I don't do too much urban exploring - I'm a fraidy cat lol...
IT LOOKS LIKE A MOUTH U CAN EVEN SEE A LIP AT THE BOTTOM
It definitely looks like a mouth...a mouth that is in some seriosu discomfort..was this anywhere near the dentistry areas?
The mouth of Hell....
this is definitely one of my favorites. It reminds me of a horror movie.
I know, its kinda late to post on this one, but I can't HELP it....It's actually Mick Jagger, (look at the lower lip!) belting out a long note!!!
Wow- that is pretty cool.
This kind of look like a mouth,,,im so there
Omg this one is positively visceral
It looks like two women enduring a great conversation. :) sitting on a bench or something ... we're looking at their backs ...
"...see the uvula?" - Ah so its a female mental hospital :-)
So men don't get to have uvulas anymore?
HaHaHa!!!!!! Somebody get my Combivent!!! Ah what the hell, Uvula / Vulva it's all the same. Can't ... stop...laughing... sucks on inhaler again. I'm gonna get smacked the next time I get lucky cause I'm gonna start laughing and she ain't gonna understand why.
Whoa.. that is... disturbing.. =/
Looks like a pair of lungs....
Ok when I look at this picture, I se two nuns O.o
OMGOSH.

Steven Tyler. :-)
This picture gives me the creeps worse then any of the others.
oook... are the three or four shadows on the wall shadows or burn marks or what? ???
Which of the buildings was this in?

This is the only site that shows this melted window. Awesome pic. Creppy as hell.
I wonder how many people got scared when they walked in the room and discovered this window!
has this hospital been used as a set for movies? u Wouldnt need any extra special effects.
It looks like the outline of a tremor bursting out of the ground. If you seen any of the Tremor movies you'll now what i'm talking about.
THE ONLY WORD I CAN THINK OF IS eeeeeewwwwwwwww

"So men don't get to have uvulas anymore?"

Guess nobody else saw Monster House.....
Into the lungs of hell
Agree with ~Me, it totally looks like the back of a mouth.
Me - I thought the uvula was proprietary to a female's anatomy? =D
