Beautiful color scheme. Almost like unorganized rainbows on the walls. Nice shot Motts.
This hallway is sick it comes up right from the main tunnel into building 42-if u take it all the way to the end u'll come to a patch of lockers with personal items and calendars with some cool stuff on it-
what is that on the floor
Is that blood or paint on the floor? Kinda' creepy
Nice. It is a cool looking hall, I dig the colors a lot. In this shot it has a creepy feel to it. Which his cool by me. Makes exploring all the more fun. Those who have been there in person are lucky, and I can only hope that the buildings stick around for a while in good shape so that others can explore them as well.
I used to party down here when the bulidng was open. It looked just as scary back in the 80's. Pipes used to bang real loud and the noises down there were real scary.
There is a basemwnt under this level that leads to other bulidings...
its called the steam tunnels. they run to every building starting at the power plant where they burned coal to create steam to heat all of the buildings (which is insane if you think about it.... there are so many buildings!) .the coal was delivered on the railroad that once ran through the park. patients were also transported to kppc on that RR.
