Kinda looks like youre walking into a dream.
only dreams here are broken ones. the stuff nightmares are made of
I really like how the photo is clearly black and white, but the sky still looks blue.
All of these wonderfull pix on this site make me think how great the locations would be for one of those super sweet Survival Horror Video Games like Silent Hill !!
This is a freaky pic....like it makes u think of a scary part in a movie and something bad is going to happen....
I like your name "LostCause."
It's very original. :)
Thanks!
kinda looks like your stepping down into a hell of its own
I've been there (The Fernald State School) My best friend was Fred Boyce who is no longer with us, God rest his soul. I the guy in the book named joey
Sorry about the mispell, I ment (I'm) Lift out 'm
Hay! after all look where I went to school. Fernald State School, wasn't any MIT
Joe Almeida: I read the State Boys Rebellion. God bless you! What a horrible experience. I lived in Waltham and worked at the Fernald in the McDouglall building (it's now a homeless shelter) I would love to talk to you about strange things that happened there (ghosts).
Joe: The McDougall building is next to building 22.
I like this photo. It is kinda spooky. On a side note, a relative of mine was put in there as a child and was kind of forgotten. She died there, but I would like to know more about this place.
The horrible things we did in the name of science...good god. I also just finished The State Boys Rebellion. It is amazing how bad things were for so long and how they changed so drastically in 50 years. Bravo to you 'boys', Joey. I would have fought for you...I do now in my job as a special education teacher. Yet, still, I am told to mind my own business when fighting for a child. I don't and get in trouble. Crazy, huh? BTW, the pic should be something out of hollywood, not a real hell.
wow this reminds me a Rose Red. Now this place seems even more weird.
OMG! this pic is awesome
Gina, I was just about to say that! it looks like the opening scene from Rose Red, when the group of people go there to study the house! VERY FRIGHTENING!!!
i am a college student wrapping up my final year of school and making a short documentary on the history of Fernald for a project. If there are any
former employees (or even residents on here) on here who would be willing to share any stories or information about Fernald I would me most grateful.
