if im not mistaken this is the isolation ward mattressses on walls......left for long periods of time for some infraction of the rules
They called it the Mayflower building because once you were on, you had to come across! See you in the ruins/////Phantom
Does anyone know if that is really true that the Mayflower ward was really isolation. It has been quit a few months since I have been there so I can not remember what buildings we were in but we have been in almost all of them and I never saw mattresses on the walls but I did come across rooms still locked, and I never have gone in the tunnels or up in the attics or down in the basements so I no we have missed stuff.
basements and tunnels are the best parts brina
there is like 40 buildings...i doubt you've even come close to being in all them...keep exploring and you cant miss the tunnels...some of the lights have been left on for ya
the mayflower building wasn't used for isolation. it was used for specialized containment for patients who were a danger to themselves or others, and were often badly abused and berated.
The Mayflower building was used for Profoundly Retarded Handicapped Male clients. Most were confined to wheelchairs and a few ambulatory. All had some sort of disability. Speaking from experience, from the late 70's to just about closing.
mikeymisery....there aren't that many buildings anymore past brown drive shit is still active. The main cluster (Admin, Whitman, Tinicum, Rockwell, Dietary, Devon etc) is basically what you can explore. I went up there just this Friday. It's incoated in fucking weeds. The admin building is terrifying. We walked the wrong way while trying to leave and ended up infront of that....scariest thing ever.
is this the building next to the limerick building? when i was there i never saw a sign.
feel the sadness, like the building is needing a hug
hmmm i know we past this one building ....or the side of it or something....... it was wayyyy creepy in the woods with being able to see our own breaths in the summertime and on the full moon..... yeah we picked a wondeful time to go hehe..... nighttime not knowing where we were going on a full moon..... very bright idea huh?
it looks like an evil castle or something a witch or evil queen would live in. VERY THEATRICAL and DRAMATIC! great picture
