Shower Stalls

Another job for Mr. Clean! The stains on the walls in this pic & the preceeding one are creepy...do they look like blood spatter to anybody else or have I watched too much CSI??

Too much CSI, much of which is bunk anyway. ;-) At old institutions or other abandoned buildings you get this junk running down the walls after a while. Hell, I've dated a few guys who had walls suspiciously like these . . . It's some combination of dirt, smog, oxidation, and mold over the years mixed with condensation, which, when dripping down the walls, looks pretty tacky. You'll notice the consistency of where it starts, the width/length of the trails, etc. Blood spatters are much more individualized and depend on where the victim was popped, how hard s/he was hit, etc. My guess is that these are a nasty light yellow/gray/brown color. Also, and if these were blood spatters there would be a line where the blood was diverted by the grab bars in the showers. :-)

This looks like soot from smoke. was there fire damage in the aria?

people always wanna put more of a story into these places than what's there... they wanna make things worse than they were.

there wouldn't be blood dripping from the TOPS of all of the walls unless it somehow seeped in from a floor above, in which case, there'd hafta be a lot of blood in the above room... enough to saturate the walls and floors.

think logically, people and stop trying to make this stuff seem so sinister. more than likely if theres red spatters or liquid, it's rust.

t, just to let you know, that isn't an orb. It's more than likely a round piece of metal screwed in to the wall to cover up a hole where a faucet of something of the plumbing sort was taken out.

Uh, bethany? The blood spatter may be coming from when the other patients would beat one another up. There may have been some throwing into the wall. I heard on another website that sexual and physical abuse was commonly heard of. It's just my opinion.
