Looks like a human being seen through cloudy glass to me. In some of those panes you can see cracks and holes indicating that there *is* still glass there. I have no idea what y'all are on about with the coming through the window pane bit.

I see what looks like the outline of a person and the face.I think in this case it is probably just an illusion,created by what I have no clue.However ghosts are not always transparent,infact you could meet one and not even know it was a ghost and not a living person.

It looks like maybe a mirror was reflecting someone? Possibly Motts himself, cause it looks kind of like his hands are to his eyes, taking a picture? ::shrug:: i dont think i would wear red if i was a ghost...

Not so Kelly!Ghosts are not just the traditional image of moaning,transparent figures in shrouds.You often wouldn't know one if you met them on the street.

I don't think you guys are looking in the right place, the face I am talking abou it in the lower right window, it is looking straight into the camera, you can clearly see the entire face but it is very goulish looking, it looks like he has one hand up as if to wave(?) perhaps. The other image is to the left of the face, kind of standing behind him, thats the one that everyone's saying has a red teeshirt on but I think thats an illusion made by the window pane. ......... but who knows.........

I blew it up using photoshop. It is hard to tell, but I believe it is something printed on a screen behind the window: like an illustrated human body, or some other anatomy illustration.

I see the face it seams to be half in and half out of the window, i beleive this shot is real , i have captured (EVP) and photographs of "ghosts" inside of pennhurst.

I think the red thing is a jacket or some such left hanging on the wall or portition or something behind the window. What people think is a face looks to me like a reflection. Working at what is considered to be America's most haunted house, The Myrtles, I see lots of pics like this.

The "ghost" face in the bottom right is cracked glass. The red tee shirt is another person. Always look for the rational explanation first. I'm with "PARENT"... these shots should not get you all excited; they should fill you with grief for what was done to the innocent people who lived here. I work with people with mental retardation, and these places make my skin crawl...no ghosts necessary

Good Lord, this is not a ghost. Hearing everyone make such stupid comments on all these pictures like "OOooh must me a ghost!" gets really annoying after a while. This isn't a picture of a ghost. I'd really think you'd have to be about three years old to think everything on here is. It's a person.
