Wine Storage

Wine Storage

This particular warehouse seemed to hold barrels of wine in these wooden racks that were slowly disintegrating.

seems like a good candidate for a vertical/horizontal panorama
The heavy timbers might be reusable if they are not too rotten. Hopefully they will not be wasted.

I worked there right out of High school this warehouse is one of the real old ones from 1892 period. It has nothing to do with Wine they stored wooden Whiskey Barrels in these Racks and the elevators sometimes when overloaded would go down real fast! It was real cold in these no heat and lots of Blue fumes when not opened for a long time. worked there from 1966/1971.

The wood still looks very solid. I am quite sure that this wood can still be used for other projects.

it looks like you are looking up or down even though you are not
i agree it looks like hese looking straight down.
These are not wine racks... they are "rollers" which hold the casts (barrels) of aging whiskey.

Question: Is the color of the sky blue or green?
