Oh man, is that cool!
I'm amazed that the coffee maker is still standing on its cabinet. How did the moronic vandals miss it?
Whoa. This makes it so much more real!
Why is the coffee maker still there?

Have you ever drank hospital coffee? It looks like mud, pours like molasses and tastes like motor oil.

I wouldn't want that coffee maker either!!! (LOL)
Whoa!, Thanks for the warning Puddleboy. I guess adding cream and sugar would just make it worse.
Really great picture. I look at it and can just imagine what it must have been like.
"Down in Lunch Lady Land!"
This room has a very pleasent, bustling feel to it. The openness, the lighting, it just cries "whistle while you work!"
I worked behind that counter, in 1978. It was a full service kitchen "serving soup to nuts" as we used to say. It was the best run industrial kit. in N.Y. And the clients very seldom went unhappy...oh for the days when people took care of each other, and pride in their work.
Looks like my old elementry school calf
hey yea, i have been there it is totally awesome!!
i can just amagin them sloutching down over their trays looking at the narley food that was givin... wow that was drimadic i should paint a picture
Definitely looks like a much nicer canteen than the one for civilian patients in another block- it's got daylight, for one thing.
Doesn't seem like it'd take too much effort to get it cleaned up and running again.
Oh, I think this look like a bright, airy, cheerful kitchen! I absolutely love the light and colors!
Are those tables stacked up back in the left corner?
Happy. Yes.
my friend and i had a pretty crazy experience here.
TMPP, "thr nuts", yup. I didn't dare want to admit that we called it the nuthouse right?! Remember when there were so many patients in town that it started to get hard to tell who was who!
the light gives the place life once more.
I ran out of this area like a bitch to the left there's another hallway / wing as i started walking down a door slammed hard . I opened the door and stepped back to take a photo i took a few steps back and put the camera to my eye.and BOOM .it was like the door was kicked closed .THERE WAS NO WIND NO SPRING on the door. FREAKY shit anyone else experience anything ?
^^^ The SAME thing happened to a different friend & I when I took him there on his first trip.
We both looked at each other & just went, "WOW."
We checked a little & it appeared that the room it came from had no windows (except for small ones toward the ceiling) & there wasn't any wind.
It was certainly odd.
We left shortly after because my friend was getting nervous over all the noises (that he was probably making since he walks very heavily), haha! :P
O_O this is where the scent of chicken came from freaky..... D:>
