Autopsy Theater

Autopsy Theater

Right across the hall from the morgue is this small autopsy theater. The dissection table was missing, most likely salvaged or scrapped.

this is my favorite--"watching the waters of the dead and dissected."
Cool quote, where is it from?
i just made it up, bro! and there's a damn type-o, too--it's supposed to say: "Watching the Watchers of the Dead and Dissected"
INterestingly, I note that every one of the multiple 'theaters' of this single facility seems to use a different kind of chairs... Uncomfortable 'bicycle' seats in some, one piece desk-chairs in others, etc...
Garth, I liked your first version better....it was much more cryptic. It made me wonder what the hell you were talking about, and it was so great.
Everyone always wonders what the hell *I* am talking about, but no one seems to think it's great. :`-(
Lynne, I hang on your EVERY word, dahling.
With or without a noose? ;-)
Definitely without.
grim grim grim my dears!!!
Its rude how the comfy seats are in here instead of the birthing theater room! its an outrage! shame on you seat installers for doing this!!!!
What...no snack bar??
i think they expected you to byos...
bring your own snack!
wasn't there a scene in "coma" where two people where working in autopsy room on a body & one guy was eating a huge sandwich?!?
ok, im convinced, this was not a hospital at all, it was a tourist attraction!
come watch a woman give birth, oh, not interested in life, come see a dead guy get choped up!
we have all your surgical viewing needs, right here at Cynthia Lee Memorial Hospital!
I wouldnt want to be caught dead in that place.LOl
Sounds like a PBS show...."Welcome to Autopsy Theater"
medical students could learn about the body, many old medical schools have such things
What does one do with a stolen autopsy table? I really don't want to know........!
This place must have had a lot of interns.
If there were any really lonely people that died in the hospital here, they sure weren't lonely in death. Too little too late. It's sad, some people don't matter until they die.
I can't resist ...sorry! Anyone remember young Frankenstein?
in my anatomy and physiology class next semester, we get to go see an autopsy done on a body. going to be pretty damn creepy for me. a friend of mine told me he'd pay me if i ran in and saw the body and screamed out "OHHH NO! THATS WHAT HAPPENED TO UNCLE JOE!!!" ha.
They would actually watch an autopsy?! I always thought that was a private thing. Talk about morbid...
Watching a body be worked on is so surreal!

Took a while for me to get around the fact that when the chest cavity is cut open, it just falls apart...

Nasty stuff.
More Nazi chairs
