puppy : (
He's in a better place now. Moody image.
I would have taken that thing home! It's way too sad and lonely looking to leave behind...... :-( I almost wish I hadn't seen it!!
Another one well done. Beautiful composition. Tugs at the heart strings.
i think its just cute, through and through, i want one
How sad to see an obviously once-beloved toy just laying abandoned and forgotten on a rusting bed frame.
touches the heart
Good lord, this piccie reminds me off all the kids I saw in the childrens' hospital.. the idea that some of the kids might have never survived their disease... :'(

Makes me cry...
Things like this always weird me out.
Motts, tell us you didn't leave it behind! Of course, couldna been too clean, eh?
strange to find something so intact among all of this destruction, allmost like you were supposed to find it.
I don't think about the puppy so much as the child that once owned it...what became of the child?
yes a very sad story lost in eternity
i hate to tell you this kiddies, its still there.......
poor puppy
This is probably one of the saddest things I have ever seen. It kind of makes you wonder where the arms are that used to hold that teddy bear.
awww.. he must have made some child very happy.......... he makes me happy.
it is so cute. i want it....to think it is all alone there :o(
Sad picture. if there was working electricity you could clean it in that matress sanitizer and take it home. is there a date or a tag on it?
i think this is so sad, it just made me say "awww". it's just amazing that everyone of these picture tell a story...
Lord, this is the saddest picture I've seen yet!! It evokes a lot of thoughts and emotions.
I can only hope that the former owner faired better than this poor little stuffed creature.
wow. this is a sad image. while i don't believe in taking anything from these places, i'm afraid i would find this little one very difficult to leave behind......
k im just a kid, but i find it totaly interesting that a simple(yet amazing) pic of an old toy on a rusted be could evoke such emotion in u guys!
its cute i guss!
i never had any attacement to a toy when i was younger, but it still makes you wonder...what is to become of that toy, what has happened to its owner long removed?
This picture absolutely chills me to the bone. There's something so haunting about seeing that stuffed dog just lying there...
My very first stuffed animal was a little dog. I still have my "little doggy". As a collector of teddy bears and other stuffed creatures, I would have had to take this cute little puppy home and "revive" him. I have "revived" others before. Maybe this was left more recently by homeless persons passing through? They aren't all adults you know.
My heart just broke.

Hope this little one had a loving owner.. :'[
take the dog
ugh... I'm with everyone, this is just too sad for me to handle...
in fact, I did find an old, tattered, scat-covered puppy once, and I'll be honest, call me crazy but I took him! I scrubbed the hell out of him and stuff and I'm still trying to figure out what I should do with him. I just couldn't leave him there or throw him away. I couldn'tve left this one here either!! it makes me so sad... its like he's layin there, waiting for his "master" to come back, and he's never gonna come back... :'(
You're lucky that you went when you did...The picture is very sad, it brought a few tears to my eyes...
This is one of the depressing pictures on Opacity. Not that it is bad. You got to have at least one moddy picture on this site.
Maybe he IS making someone in the spirit world 'happy'
I used to have a little toy of a dog .. and I lost him at my hospital :( sad little girl I was going home and realizing I'd left "scruffs" behind.
It truly show the loss of innocence. Once this toy was held and played with by a shy little child then it was lost and forgotten just like so many other things in our daily lives.
Starving children around the world.
Animals stuck in shelters or
Some of the beautiful buildings on this sight.
"Time only goes one direction...Forward."
I think this one pic is one of the most powerful I have seen so far on this sight. Very moving.
I think it's better off that Motts left it there. The picture has been taken and spread to touch all of your hearts, if the puppy toy was removed no one else would ever find it and be touched by it as well. A lot of people died in the hospital, it'd be like taking something from a gravesite.
Plus, I'm curious if Motts found this in the children's ward. Lots of people give stuffed animals to patients (especially women) because that's sort of become what you do for someone... stuffed toys and flowers.
How sad.......
It's possible... it was very difficult to tell which wards were which since it was so bombed-out.
This put such a knot in my stomach. I hope the puppy found a new home . To think of a little stuffed puppy alone in that sad place :( then again maybe he is making someone we cant see or hear or feel happy.. I want him :)
My heart is broken. You know that a child somewhere wonders where his puppy went.
wow just think how happy this made some little sick child feel...
it dosen make me feel happy
It Kinda Looks Like 'Spot The Dog'
Cute, Great Picture Motts!
So sad. I couldn't have left him there.
poor adorable puppy! left behind when it's owner died (if he/she died). so sad. =[
Aw..
aw..
looks like its slightly smiling at you
just hoping you might pick him up and take
him home.
It makes your heart drop.
Makes you wonder what happened to the owner of the stuffed animal.
Oh, that's criminally sad. I'm usually cynical to the core, but I'm sitting here with eyes full of tears. God, I'm glad no one's looking...lol!

**Wants to rescue puppy**

Damn you, stuffed toys, for making grown men and women weep!
the dog bit the eye an horn off my unacorn
Motts, you owe me a family sized box of kleenex tissues!
This pulls on the heart strings. I do love this photograph though, even through the sadness of it.
I never would take anything but after watching all the Toy Stories how can you walk off with his little voice saying, "Wait, don't leave, come back!" Can't believe it's still there and no one's taken it.
This is truly a more realistic image to behold. Seeing something that was obviously cared for at one point just laying their as if its waiting to be taken home again. It makes you realize the emotions in places like this.
aww man... i hope the little one that owned this is well and ok.. kinda a sad reminder that we all are dust eventually.
Aw:(
