i think they refurbished this building as of 2005 and now being used as the park ranger office and a bird sanctuary heaquaters were enthusiasts can get information on the various trails nearby....
That would be building 125, former administration, which is right across from this.
Motts, PLEEEEESE tell me if those are pictures on the lower floors, and if so, WHY? Looks like an eagle on the left and a lighthouse on the right.
They had the local kids paint murals on the boards over the windows, most likely to lessen the "scary" aura of an abandoned psychiatric hospital.
Ok, I was her last night and the building is 1) not refurbished, 2) definitely inhabited by cats and people (due to the fresh use of the toilet which we noticed), 3) there were no murals or paintings that I saw, and 4) there was glass scattered all over the floor, even where there was no way for window glass to reach naturally.....this was one of the cooler of the building I was able to explore.
Ok i went there last night and there are painting on the windows its very pretty
i went there last saturday, and me nd my 20 friends got busted by a cop! AND THEN THE COP SHOWED US A TOUR OF THE PLACE!! i swear to God, no bullshit!! oh and we didnt get a fine =)))
Why did they let the kids paint on the boards of the building? anyways nice shot
