This booth that juts out was an area where workers could oversee and control all the workings of the plant in a sound proof room.

Oh yeah, inside were walls seperating the room from everywhere else, and thick shards of glass where the windows used to be... it's hard to tell from here.

This place is incredible. Awesome gallery! I wish my city still had places like this. I think im going to have to do some traveling. I must visit this place. It reminds me of a warehouse that we once had here in Toronto. Thanks for sharing Motts.

Places like this must be quite impressive while up and running. So many of us forget about the buildings and people that provide the infrastructure, like power, for the rest of us.
