pretty cool view
yeah,it is
The annual summer BBQ is held on this very deck. What better a way to celebrate the freedom of the nation?!
I've had dozens of beers looking at this very building from this deck, including during the last major snowstorm.
Awesome view every time.
We had the local Philadelphia Police Helicopter drop right out of the sky level to where we were hanging out here. Needless to say we boogied on out the door but their infared followed us for an entire building before we went underground.
Fun fun drunk in the sun.
And that my friends is why they call him Radical F'en ED
hey thats pretty cool that you have barbeques up there lol, it be pretty funny to run into someone up there grilling...
It happened on July 3rd!
damn i missed out lol before july 8th i wasnt able to get there for a few weeks... oh well
i'm still wondering when i'll randomly show up for the BBQ, nice pic.

MMM burgers. LOL. Sounds like a neighborhood gathering. Even abandoned these hospitals still do some good. =)
I was here on monday and the same thing happened. I was atop N-10 when all of the sudden a pig chopper fell out of the sky and circled the building about four times. I knew the cops had infared so I got out of N-10 and into the underground traffic tunnel, then it went away.
SWEET !!
yo ed you are rad met many ppl there maybe one was you keep on rockin the usa
You guys have odd cops that would actually chase you guys round a building like that, it sounds like a rush. Here where we live the cops are lazy and are all like "Stop! or ill shout stop again". I love nothin more than giving the cops round here a run for thier money.. but a cop chopper tops it.. i MUST get my ass to byberry before it closes!
Radical Ed. PLEASE ADD ME TO MSN Wolfish_type@hotmail.com I cant find any other way to contact you. Im comming from australia to see byberry. I need a guide.
your coming all the way from australia to see a fucked up wearthless piece of shit abandoned mental hospital ........WOW ! I go here when I'm board
Okay, here's another new word -- wearthless. Love it!
Im new to the site, but I used to live on Carter Rd and every day Id walk out the front door and there it was. Back in '95 the police and medical forensics dug several holes looking for clues or bodies.
I'ts not all that easy, If the right police officer is around you will be put in another place something like this but you don't have the view!!!!!!!!!!!
hey 'mom that cares' you do realize that they will most likley give you a warning for trespassing or just escort you off the property. Most cops dont want to do the paper work that is involved with that kinda thing.
my last posting was a little INFLUINCED.buti am 47 years old and still intranced by this place. i was raised i n the area and used to explore the old side when it shut down.junod playground used to be almost connected to the old grounds of the hospital .Goddog knows.the last com sounds like shes pissed for notin

mommy
after all the bullshit I can still see the F------ stars and still go to work........
I've been to the old Byberry in 1986. We
would go 4 wheeling around there.
hey fellas....save your mindless comments for myspace
Thanks jimzep79, Townsend Rd...I was trying to think of that street. Are any of those old buildings still there? I grew up in Rambler Park and we used to goof off and play around in those old buildings. That was over 20 years ago. niceriboy@aol.com
Only one building remains over there, in the refurbished form of an office building. There are a few little remains in the woods, but E-2 is the only remaining building left standing on the east side of the boulevard.
Why do children have to come onto sites like this and lie? Worse yet, why do so many believe it...No one chased you in a helicopter with infrared for being on an abandoned lot.
Horrid view !

you're absolutely right...i really regret making that comment even though i personally would never consider painting any of these places out of respect for the patients...just appreciate both ue and good graff
