wow i really like this. its almost haunting, like you can kind of picture it back when the asylum was open, with people wandering the halls...creepy. awesome.
Does anybody think this place is haunted?
Oh, it's haunted, Alright!
tell me, does any one see a ghost to the rite of the door?
i think i do see a ghost---right beyond the last door on the right (inside the doorway). my friend took pictures the other night there and we got some orbs in the big auditorium on film
I see what your talking about me but I'm not sure what it is exactly.Orbs can sometimes be dust on the camera lens but in a place like Byberry I think there is a good chance you could have got some paranormal activity mike.
Do orbs make good pets?
No, they don't they are hard to find when you want them, and they don't follow orders all that well, either
Not only that, sometimes they lie to you and say they are beer orbs, when in fact they are whiskey orbs!
down them steps are the way to hell
Byberry is definitly one of the most haunted places I have ever gone. I frist went here with my girlfriend who always talked of spirits and I never actually believed that there was such a thing. Then she took me here, which is about a 20 minute drive from home. All you have to do is look at the building and you know that they are haunted. You go in any building and all your hair stands up and you can feel the presence of spirits watching your every move. Definitly a place to go to fully understand that we are not alone, and there are definitly spirits among us. If you hjave any q's for me, feel free to email me at wohlb@kitty-hawk.navy.mil
Radical Ed, I TOLD you to bottle up those beer orbs! >:-(
how the heck did you guys manage to get into the building? last time we tried there was some golf cart security personnel stopped us and took our flashlights and told us if we wanted our flashlights that we had to pick them up at the police station...!
mmmmmmmmmmm BEER ORBs!!!!!!!!!
Now, why is it that just because some places are decayed they seem to be almost automatically haunted according to some?
while me and a couple of my buddies visited our flash lights where flikerin kinda creepy
My friends and I used to explore the Byberry buildings many times in the late 70s. The only things we saw there were lots of broken glass, crumpled walls and ceilings along with a ton of dangerous asbestos.
I wish I could go just to feel that crepy feelin that some thing there.
Anyone else see something that looks like a ghost of a patient or one of the sacrificed animals? In the very back of the picture before the hallway turns to the right.
omg going there for halloween only nine i think im going to cry
yes... definitely creepy & foreboding
I am a paranormal investigator. I will tell you this, anytime you have a place such as this that has had a lot of deaths and negative things happen there (I'm not saying everything that happened there was negative), you are absolutely going to have some spirits that will linger for whatever reason. Residual energy is paranormal energy that is trapped in the environment in which it occurred. "Intelligent" spirits can actually communicate with you, such as touching you or moving objects.

Just because you have not seen a ghost or experienced anything paranormal does not mean it isn't there! Take a digital voice recorder, sit down and be quiet and ask questions. Go back and listen with good quality headphones, I can pretty much guarantee you will get responses to your questions. You cannot hear or experience anything if you're running around, screaming and playing pranks on each other. True investigation requires patience and being quiet. You're not going to see something every 5 minutes like they show on TV.
