Beautiful color!!
Green? Ever see trees?
This almost looks like the water line in a swimming pool
why does this corridor goes upwards?
It connected two buildings together at the third floor, I guess they weren't at the same height.
Ugly. The color, not the pic.
Good lord, how I loathe that color!
seems to go on for ever
i like that color
You never realize how depressing the colors they used were. For instance this hall a patient that had to frequently use it would always cause a sadness. It is interesting how they used colors against the patients.
I promise you that colors were never intentionally used "against" patients. Promise, promise, promise.
Well except when the patients were being bad they would dunk them in a vat of red paint and then subject them to shock therapy at industrial settings and then to top it off they would give them a lobotomy, twice.
CAS...you make me laugh!!! :-)
You would think that proper use of color's .Would stimulate one's mind ,and give patient's a better disposition.
all of you people are stupid, its a freakin pic. of a hallway... gosh! get real.
PLEASE don't call people 'stupid'
That has got to be the NASTIEST word ever used.
Lynne can have to soap box back.
[Psssst!!! ~Me! Must be a relative of Thomas Covenant.]
Reminds me of the rehab. hospital my dad worked for about 7 years ago. Everyting was that mint green color.
Was wondering when I'd see the calming green.. although this is a bit dark and not so smooth as the places today o_o
if you look long enough at the doorway at the end of the hall, youd almost expect a forgotten patient to look out at you.
why do dark corridors freak me out so much?
where are the metal grates for these radiators?
What a color! I like this.
If I went to a mental hospital i would kick all the doors down, smash all the windows, turn over all the beds and rip all the radiators out of the walls
And then you would be placed in a straight jacket and locked up in a padded cell, which is what you would deserve anyway, Conor. I really dislike destructive people like you! Stop it and grow up, geeez

Jeanette: Yeah it's really sweet! I like it too!
Love the color contrast
this colour is wicked its kind of calming i think that institutes dont choose certain colours i rhink its chosen by higher authorities
it's a nice colour, but I'm afraid the hall gives me the shivers.
This seems very sad to me. I dont know why. Its not so much the color its the feeling I get when I look at this picture.
Good old fashioned nightmare fuel. :)

Seriously though, this is a beautiful shot in every way.
Almost looks underwater !
You think people painted rooms colors like this to be jerks? i think whoever designed this place also did the inside of my local favorite mexican restaurant....mmmm TACOS.
