I like the placement of the chair near the window. Makes the cair the center of attention while the window acts as a good background adding a feeling of emtiness to the shot.
Thats one of our chyll spots on the first floor of 93-great on a nice warm day
I like not just the direction the chair's facing in this photo, but also the way it's leaning forward... It reminds me of a person who, having tried to do something (escape?) and failed, finds themselves unable to do anything more than sit slumped in front of the window and stare out of it thinking of what might have been.
^ yes, it looks like its bowing down in mourning and in silent respect.
u like to go there during the winter! winter at kp is beautiful yet brutal!
I did my art composition based on this picture and a few others from the KPCC collection (hey, you said we could Motts, didn't you?) but it was mostly based on this one. needless to say this pic inspired me like no other. wish I could get the drawing on the comp but it doesn't even fit on my scanner.
Sure thing... take a digital photo of the drawing! :-)
I'd love to see it J.R!!!!
Ah, the chair. This one seems to hang its head in despair. Fits the tone of the place.
it seems like the chair got tiered of wating for someone...or something...
I am sure I just saw this picture used in the movie Lost Suburbia, which has been shown at the Bellmore theater and the Huntington, New Community Theater, Did you sell it to the film makers?
No, I haven't...
creepy..like the green chair that was waiting for you in that other place hehe
another great chair shot.

awesome Motts.
(:
looks like the chair is sad...sick pic man
Sad chair. It's crying...
First time I have ever seen a chair "sigh". Very moving composition, again, thanks for provoking our minds with your art! :)
This is great. I know that sounds dumb. But I don't know how to say it any other way.
the chair seems sad...in a cool creapy way..awsome
aw, he's sad!
It almost seems as if the weight of everything that happened there is centered on that chair. It looks as if it's holding a great weight on it.
I am waiting for this chair to be occupied.
This chair look as though its given up all hope.
The lonely chair just needs someone ....anyone.....or someone to take me home....away from this lonely place. Please.
It looks like some one just got put in the hospital and is depressed and looking out the window thinking how hes never gona see his family agian and no chance of getting out.....

Ps it looks like an emo chiar
These rooms in kppc... theyre like sun rooms but the floors are in fine condition. i have to say that these rooms on the tiers of 93 are probably one of my top 5 places i have ever been. i dont know why. as weird as it sounds. these sun rooms amaze me.
