they are everywhere and they are beautiful!
I remember these room when they were filled with patients. I think their beauty lies in their usefullness. A house is only a home when it is lived in.
Aside from looking like something rampaged through here and gnawed on the partitions, I try to envision beauty...long, long ago.
Wait!!!!! Those are rooms??
They are divided sections of a room, two to four beds would be in each partition I imagine.
Correct! They aren't used any more for bedroom areas due to the revised fire safety code of several years back.
Now that most of this is gone, my sprinkler pipes survived. I helped to modify these my first week on the job, over twenty-two years ago. How time flies eh?
My lost grandmother died here-I'm just now trying to track her life down-I'd love to hear back from Old Nurse. All these pictures are beautiful but so sad they are breaking my heart.
I love the slight angle, really makes the photo
Honestly, I never realized Mental Illness was so wide-spread until I got on this website. It really is scarey to think so many many people, not just today, but years and years ago had so mental handicaps.
so sad but captivating
