How many basement floors are there? anything interesting in them?>....
I think every building technically has a basement but 1 i know for sure has somewhat of a tunnel system its the building right near the power plant, there are 3 in my memory its the building furthest to the west. Now thats creepy down there all you can see are rows of concrete collums going out of sight and strange dripping and creeking sounds i didnt get far down there i plan to go back with string or something to find my way out.
Many of the various psyc. hospitals on long island do have a tunneling system under the entire campus. These tunneling systems were used by patients and doctors post surgery and for the patients that could not go out side for various mental issues. I have been in the tunnels under the CI hospital and have met former workers at CI. I have spent countless hours in the abandoned buildings there. Most of the underground tunnels are like a large map with a simple grid system.... No string needed Tom...
How exactly do you get into these tunnels? (I mean... Where???)
someone please tell me were these tunnels are cuz im goin there 2morrow and i would like 2 kno
the stairs are really creepy , I LOVE IT!!
I love the contrast of the red on the stairs to the dull gray of everything else.
The photographer is very brave to be down the basement of an abandoned mental hospital in very low sunlight.
When My friends and I explored one of the old residential buildings, we found an entrance to one of the tunnels. Only two of the guys had the guts to go down, the rest of us stayed up and waited for them, but when they went back without me they found that all of the buildings were basically connected underground.
cool, some interesting facts there...does anyone not think that texas chainsaw massacre comes to mind?
hey ive been in a few buildings.idk it just spookes me out..i have a question for who takes these pics..did u take these alone..and were you scared? and this pics are amazing..great quality
Deer Park Crew - we used to go to the tunnels on halloween. They used to have secuirty. This was when I was in my 20's. We would bring a flash light at night - 43 and still get chills - The ulitmate spook house!
ive been down there and i can tell you first hand that weird stuff happens, like hearing sounds when your coming back from the tunnels to go up the stairs cant say what it was but when we got to the top and walked into the hallway no one was there....
My dad worked there when he was a teenager, his parents and brother worked there also. My dad had the honor of showing the "craziest" patients out of their room and show them movies. He has lots of memories of the place like accidently smashing a baby grand piano in the basement. There was a major infestation of earwigs in there that he had to clean up. Theres lots of interesting stories about the place like the procedures that they did
One...Two...Freddy is coming for you... Just kidding great photo.
