it looks like a bomb went off in here!
VERY NICE AND AT ONE TIME HOMELY. I WOULD ALSO PUT MY BED THERE TOO BUT I BET IT PROBABLY WAS COLD AS HECK.
Once again a picture has touched my soul and braught tears to my eyes of the memories I have of this place.

This is stunning!
Weren't they afraid of someone falling out?
Wow, this pic is very nice. It reminds me of a painting. It's kind of sad when you look at it.
i useta live very close to danvers and back in 1993-1994 me and 3 of my friends went up there that place is haunted as hell ...doors closeing on us and when we went back outside we saw a figuer of a lady wearing a gown right in this window .Its crazy looking at this picture ,trying not to think of what happend too me that night ....there are also undergound walkways here at danvers that whole place is effing craaaaazzzzy
Maybe they were telling you that you shouldn't be poking around in there.
Why on earth would they create these "little" rooms? What exactly was their purpose?
Storage. There was extra space under the dormers, so this was an economical use of that space.
Like Lynne said..Storage, lighting for the attic...or upper floors...I would love to have my room in the attic and have a dormer like this in it!
i hope u guys mean at ur house
great pic, it draws uou in........
It's so sad looking at this and knowing that none of the interior of the building exists now.
Ditto, DaveWilly, I'd love to have a little space like this in my attic. I'd put an armchair there and sit and read by the light of the window and drink tea. I love little nooks and crannies like this, I don't feel any 'pain and sorrow' at all looking at this picture!
You scare me
Very apt for schizofrenia
i find beauty in this. even though of all the toutured souls i cant help it
ok...this picture too reminds me of something...i think they're trying to tell me something
did you ever get lost in that big place?
i swear these angles remind me of dreams in the witch house. Maybe HP saw it before, he did live in the area.
I was a resident there and you have no idea what these pics are really saying ah.... the memories so many to tell with so little time left to tell them. 2012 is upon us .
That stair well picture is pretty even now. But when I bounced poor John down those stairs in the summer of '63 and he had to go away that was a bad day for me. I'm sorry to John's family .
It is magic!

Question: What is the first letter of the word "abandoned?"
