Excellent photo!
yet again, amazing!
Very ornate and mystical...
I am fascinated by Danvers... I want to go there one of these days.
Looks like the lights of route 1 through the fog
Uhh how did you get up there? Are you in a window or right on the roof? Just wondering...
The tower in the front of the building has a small spiral staircase which leads to four balconies on each site that you could hang out on.
THIS PIC IS AMAZING <33
The chimneys are beautiful. Can you imagine what a chore it was to heat that building in the days before electricity? Thanks Motts!
how did u get this picture
The lose of two thirds of the kirkbride is a major tragedy, but Avalon Bay is doing a great job on the remaining part of the kirkbride. The roof looks fantastic, without the beautiful chemneys of course. It will look awsome when they rebuild the center tower to it's former glory. The old brick work of that portion of the hospital remains and it will look almost as it did in better days. Have any of you been to the Danvers construction web cam to watch the construction there. For any interested, go to.... Google and type in (Avalon Bay Comunities,) then to the link, (comunities under construction,) and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on, ( Avalon Danvers Construction Webcam.) I tryed to post the url, but I couldn't get the code right to post it.
How did you get in?
oops sorry.....scratch that question please:(
I was just thinking that the person who took the pics had special permission....I asked before if read that tiny print
so unbreathtaking its black and white
You'd be forgiven for thinking that was Ripper era London... Just beautiful.
I worked there for one summer, when I was just 17 years old as an attendant on one of the violent wards (B3) and it was quite an experience. The one thing it took me a long time to forget, was the smell.
Hundred bucks says people will start experiencing strange things in these apartments.
Certain places should be left alone.
TOTALLY Not because it is good for them to see other people
Joan what did it smell like
WHY DID THEY SEPATATE GENDERS???
